Data Controller & Scope

Time Efficiency Experts Ltd (registered in Switzerland, UID CHE-123.456.789) acts as data controller for all personal information processed via our website, training platforms, and client interactions. This policy applies to prospects, clients, and website visitors, and complies with GDPR (EU 2016/679), Swiss FADP, and CCPA where applicable.

Categories of Data Collected

We collect: (a) Identity data: name, job title, organization; (b) Contact data: email, phone, postal address; (c) Professional data: work patterns, time audit results, training progress; (d) Technical data: IP address, browser type, device IDs, session recordings (with consent). Special category data (e.g., health-related scheduling) is processed only with explicit opt-in.

Purpose & Legal Bases for Processing

Processing is performed for: (i) Service delivery under contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR); (ii) Legitimate interests in improving productivity tools (Art. 6(1)(f)); (iii) Compliance with legal obligations (e.g., tax records); (iv) Consent-based marketing via email (Art. 6(1)(a)). Automated decision-making (e.g., scheduling algorithm optimization) is subject to human oversight per Art. 22 GDPR.

Data Retention & Erasure

Client data is retained for the duration of engagement plus 12 months (contractual) or 3 years (invoicing). Prospect data is deleted after 6 months if no conversion. Website analytics logs are anonymized after 14 months. Users may request erasure under the ‘right to be forgotten’ (Art. 17), subject to overriding legal retention requirements.

Third-Party Processors & Transfers

We engage sub-processors (e.g., cloud storage: Hetzner (Germany), analytics: Matomo (self-hosted), CRM: HubSpot (US under Privacy Shield 2.0)). All transfers ensure adequate safeguards via Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or Binding Corporate Rules. A full list is available upon request.
